Six notes on websites, digital marketing, brand and AI, written from delivery work for Australian business. Each states a position and the evidence behind it.
These notes record positions the studio has tested in client engagements. They are not legal, financial or medical advice.
Sites with traffic but no orders usually fail on path and friction, not aesthetics. The note lists the checks we run first.
Read the noteAI can produce a working page quickly. It cannot decide what the page should say, or own the result after launch.
Read the noteLocal search and business profile fundamentals remain the highest-return channel for service businesses. Gridline Finance is the worked example.
Read the noteConsistency means every touchpoint says the same thing. The note uses a law firm engagement to show what comes before the visuals.
Read the noteLoad time and screen-reader support belong on the revenue side of the ledger. The note covers the budgets we set before launch.
Read the noteLaw, accounting and consulting firms build trust with useful content rather than ads. The note covers what makes content compound.
Read the noteEach note comes from work delivered for clients, and examples are de-identified. Positions are stated with the evidence behind them, and revised when the evidence changes.
Most client problems trace back to one of four areas, so the notes concentrate on them.
New notes are added when a pattern appears across several engagements rather than on a publishing schedule.
Each note opens with the situation, then the checks used to diagnose it, then the change applied. Skipping to the change without the checks usually produces the wrong fix, because two sites can show the same symptom from different causes.
Numbers quoted in notes come from client work and are reported against the baseline measured before the change, over the period stated in the note.
If a note conflicts with what you measure in your own business, send the data and the position will be reviewed. Topics worth writing about can be requested through the contact page.
If a topic matches a problem in your business, we can scope the first step and quote the work involved.
